New journal, who dis?

Last journal was getting too hard to track comments/offers on the final remaining CS due to the number of comments and the original number of CS sales/trades. So to clean up a bit -- and ensure that offers are still valid -- here's a new journal for the last few CS I have to sell/trade.

I'm no longer listed reserved elnin. If their sales fall through then I'll put them up properly, but for now I think it's cleaner to not have comments expressing interest in them among the ones that are definitely for sale/trade.

Not looking for any CS trades, as I'm leaving DevArt/CS.  If an item says it's trade-only, I'm mostly looking for RL goods as a trade (vouchers or USD not allowed for trade-only Manaberry CS), but you can try to 3-way trade. Please just have the other party worked out, and knowing what they're offering, before presenting the offer to me.

If it says USD/sale is allowed, I'm more interested in USD but may accept a trade if the offer is appealing.

For easier assistance with plotting and RPs, I've decided to keep a mini directory of my Elnin with links back to the masterlist posts and a short write-up on their personalities, jobs, etc. I'm huge into RP and character development and lasting plots. (My first adopt from Chel/Manaberry is my longest-running, most-RPed character ever with 10+ years of RP and plots and development.) I rarely ever agree to romantic pairings before significant RP has occurred to see how various characters interact and their potential for future development.

Please don't ask me to sell or trade. I rarely let characters go once I've connected enough for names and personalities to be settled.

Please DO ask for more info if you're interested in my characters. I love to talk about them and I love to talk plots and scenarios and who might meet who or who'll get along or who won't, etc.





SANOSUKE (Blue Oni)
Gender: Male
Rank: Adventurer
Sexuality: Bi/Demisexual (occasionally has flings, but in a main, serious relationship with Laurent)

A hunter/trapper by trade, Sano comes from a very superstitious village famous for wearing masks to keep evil spirits in the nearby forest from possessing those passing through. Sano takes his trade and his duties seriously, but is rather laissez-faire about personal matters and interactions. He doesn't like to get drawn into the troubles of others and prefers to not make waves. He can appear very easy-going or to have little personal preferences, but really it's just another kind of mask to try and make his life easy (since his job isn't). People who make him very, very annoyed might see the mask crack a little, but even when driven to insults he tries to deliver them in a manner leaving people confused if they were insulted or if he meant that deliberately, all the better for plausible deniability (and avoiding a scene)!

Sano doesn't leave his village area all that often, as he's an expert on tracking and hunting the wildlife there, though that may change further in the future. He's open to being met by people who visit his village or nearby areas, but not available to those who live in a different notable city/continent/area or who want to do travel journeys.




LAURENT (Stygian King)
Gender: Male (as a Royal, can swap gender at will)

Sexuality: Sano-sexual

The last of a Royal line, Laurent was unprepared for a long-dormant family curse to infect him stronger than ever before, corrupting and changing his Pomu to give both a hostile second personality and an imposing second form. Given that Pomu are believed to be a physical manifestation of an Elnin's soul, Laurent and his mouthy companion Caelios are figures of horror to most Elnin (and any other races of Eyre familiar with the belief about the Pomu<->soul connection). It doesn't help that Caelios' bloodlust must be kept fed, either through destroying shylldra, feeding off Laurent's massive amounts of mana, or... for some strange reason, also smashing pots. (Laurent is an unwanted - yet unable to not invite due to giving offense - guest at weddings and other celebrations. He gets strongly encouraged to go kill shit beforehand and wear the sword out. WE DO NOT SPEAK OF THE SMASHED WEDDING.)



SPIKE (Strawberry Bebop)
Gender: Gender-fluid (physical gender unknown)
Rank: Adventurer
Sexuality: Bi and poly, but needs to trust others a great deal before being intimate

Raised by their mother Ichigo, Spike is basically her polar opposite: very calm, very laid-back and altogether a bit embarrassed by their mother's behaviour. Perhaps because travelling with Ichigo's loud presence means they fade into the background a bit, but Spike doesn't reveal much about themself to the world in general. It's known that 'Spike' is a nickname, but neither Spike nor Ichigo have been forthcoming with another name or even Spike's gender. Spike seems a bit miffed by any gender assumptions or pronouns, but doesn't raise a fuss either way - gender-neutral pronouns of any kind are accepted without comment.

Suffers from acute second-hand embarrassment (even if the other person is not embarrassed, MOM WHY).

Growing up with Ichigo meant Spike has exposure to a lot of potential careers, but to Ichigo's utter bafflement (but proud endorsement!) Spike has become something of a botanist or documenter/identifier of nature. Spike indulges a love of travelling but with a more bookish nature, spending a lot of time in gijinka form to sketch plants and animals, with copies being sold to herbalists, hunters, and various other parties with an interest in correctly identifying the appearance and attributes of local flora and fauna.

Still often travels with Ichigo and is a bit of a "momma's kittom", despite the embarrassment they often suffer at witnessing Ichigo's actions.




CASSIOPEIA (Night Lights)
Gender: Female
Rank: Adventurer
Sexuality: Heterosexual - perma-bonded to Ouska

Cass is an astronomer and star-mapper by trade. She dabbles a bit in astrology as well to keep her purse filled for the next journey, as the average citizen of Eyre is more interested in having their future told than buying navigational tools. She doesn't quite believe in astrology herself, but she's starting to have fun weaving elaborate stories around the very simple signs/meanings the movements of the stars give.

The biggest customer for her star-maps would be the Pathfinder Guild, who are the best-of-the-best explorers and guides to new or dangerous regions of Eyre. It means Cass makes a lot of repeat journeys to the same places, so she can accurately map out the night skies during each season without having to spend a year in every new area. She'd get too antsy waiting an entire year before moving on, so she's more like a merchant following a particular trade route back and forth.

She's friendly and optimistic, a bit more mature than her age-mates, and likes to cultivate an air of mystery in the villages and towns she visits, as she thinks it adds to her astrology / fortune-telling mystique. She's a gentle soul and generally prefers to travel with others since she doesn't like the idea of being forced to fight anyone or anything on the road, not even shylldra.




RIN (ELN139)

One of the kittoms from Cass and Ouska's first litter, Rin is also one half of a pair of twins (twin Rize is owned by Starbask/Naiko). The only differences between them so far are mirrored heterochromia and different colour toe beans -- so suffice to say, it takes most people a while to realise there are two of them or that they've switched place.

Sneaky and devious, Rin is the sliiightly more evil twin (or just less good at pulling the innocent act than Rize, it's hard to tell). Very curious and believes rules are for other elnin/Kin. Doesn't seem the type to follow anyone else, but Rize is always an exception. Rin has a big heart and loves deeply (especially family) but... the pull of pranks is often stronger than promises to behave... They're not malicious by any means, but like most children Rin has no real concept of consequences, potential danger/injury, or caring about others being hurt so long as they are having fun.

Rin travels most places with Cass (and Rize with Ouska), but is sometimes put into daycare when Cass needs to focus on work. Cass and Ouska make extra time for family plans, meaning the two parents plus twins see each other regularly.




SAIKA (ELN321)
Gender: Female (as a Noble, can swap gender at will)
Rank: Noble
Sexuality: Bisexual, happy to swap gender for babies if required

A warrior-nin from Ahza, Saika is a bit of a workaholic. She's polite but not overly friendly, as she's used to being avoided due to her rather strong case of mana poisoning (not actually contagious despite the general assumption/fear). Honest and trustworthy, she is very straightforward ... which sometimes means she can be a bit too blunt despite her aim of being polite. She's had several flings as either male or female parent, as one of her few non-battle goals is to contribute to the future of the elnin population (maybe getting some more strong, future-warrior nin out there).




GWYNN (ELN322)
Gender: Male (as a Noble, can swap gender at will)
Rank: Noble
Sexuality: Bisexual, prefers to remain male

Gwynn is a little... odd. A bit wild for an elnin, his behaviour is more in line with an undomesticated kyunru who live in the wilds. Gwynn doesn't often spend time in civilised areas or around other beings, leading to speculation that he's Eldritch-touched. He can come across as flighty or absent-minded, and doesn't always get social customs or interactions. Most offences caused aren't intentional, they're just due to lack of knowledge and/or lack of proper consideration for others. For example, if he finds a conversation boring, he'll just... leave, in the middle, without warning anyone or excusing himself. In a committed relationship with Ende's Loki.




ÁSAGRIM (G-ELN682)

Child to Gwynn and Loki, Grim is a serious, studious munchkin with little to no sense of humour. He loves learning new things... to the point where he seems to have inside information on almost everyone he meets. Those birds are just markings, right? They can't actually spy on people for him?? He also has a bad habit of... stalking Loki and giving his parent a serious case of side-eye and 'I know you're up to no good!'.

CS: Paragon Aetherling - Morningstar

After much deliberation, I have decided to put Morningstar up for offer. I am in love with her art, but my main purpose of buying adoptables is for RP and I just can't connect with this lovely lady. In addition, Morningstar is part of special 'twin/sister' lore with Evenstar, which my darling wifu Manaberry has to part with to pay her bills, so the chances of me RPing with Morningstar dwindle further. She was part the Advent calendar event and is one of only three Paragons among the Aetherlings so far. She has beautiful lore backing up her beautiful design:

Aetherling legends often contain whispers of the twin Paragons of the "winter star", a distant planet that follows the setting of the sun and moon. Born together of the same essence, the twins would find that their ways soon drifted apart, driven by fate. Never to cross paths again, they remained forever linked in an endless cycle. One chose the follow the Evenstar, rising at the cusp of twilight in the far west, and the other sought the Morningstar of the far east, basking in the soft light over the ocean, just before the rising sun.

Like Evenstar, they have the Paragon trait of fully formed wings, and along with their twin, are likely the only of the species to have this unique feature. Likewise, they bear floating crystals and naturally cut-shaped crystals, which allude to the purity of their Paragon essence.

I am only interested in USD cash offers (unless you're offering something from my dream adopts).

I paid $500 for Morningstar, so would ideally like to recoup that cost. Payment plans can be worked out, though I would expect payment within a month from claim/first payment. I might be able to extend if absolutely necessary. Please note me for any discussions of payment plans.
